A Kano-born atheist, Mubarak Bala has been sentenced to 36 years in a correctional centre for inciting contempt of religion and breach of public peace. DAILY POST reports.

Justice Faroukh ordered that the prison terms be commenced when the convict was first arrested and similarly ordered the term to run concurrently.

”By this order, the convict shall serve 24 years concurrently in the correctional centre.
