“I was in the car with my driver, sleeping. I usually sit at the back but on that day, I sat in the front. I noticed that my driver was telling some guys to get away from the front of the vehicle.

“We had to reverse and climb the pavement to get to the other lane because there was traffic congestion on our lane. While trying to climb the pavement, we hit one of the guys, but the hoodlums continued running after us.”

PUNCH reports that when asked if he reported the incident to the police, he said, “What would the police do? There was actually a police vehicle parked close to the place, and they know those things (robberies) happen.”
