Africa Magic promotes local content with new Igbo series

In a bid to promote local content, the leading family entertainment channel, Africa Magic, will premiere a new Igbo series, Nwaanyi Ike.Information Guide Nigeria

This is to appeal to lovers of local content in the Nigerian movie industry.

Speaking about the new series, the Executive Head of Content and Channels West Africa, Multichoice Nigeria, Dr Busola Tejumola, said, “Nwaanyi Ike is a fantastic addition to our existing collection of local content. It is a must-watch for lovers of Nigerian stories as the series offers an amazing plot and unearths great acting talents.

According to the statement, 26-episode series, directed by Victor Okpala and Richard Nwosu, would premiere exclusively on Africa Magic Igbo and GOTV channel 11.

According to PUNCH, Nwaanyi Ike is the first indigenous Igbo series to be originally produced by Africa Magic.JAMB Result
