Umo Eno, governor of Akwa Ibom, says his four-year tenure will not be assessed on the basis of the number of visitors he received in the government house. THE CABLE reports.Information Guide Nigeria

Eno, who promised ‘happy hour’ during the electioneering campaigns in March, asked politicians in the state to allow him focus on the work he was elected to do, instead of paying him frequent visits.

“I like to please appeal to us the elites, since we resumed, we have tried to open our doors to receive as many people as we can and that was to show goodwill,” the governor posted this on his Facebook page.
