ANCHOR University, Ayobo, Lagos (AUL), has hailed the emergence of Deeper Life High School (DLHS) student, Miss Nkechiyere Umeh, as the best candidate in this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with a score of 360. THE GUARDIAN reports.
The university said there is no controversy on who the best candidate is in the 2022/2023 UTME as Umeh is the authentic winner of the best score result.
The Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the institution, Prof. Samuel Oye Bandele, gave the commendation, yesterday, at a media briefing to announce opening of the university’s 2023/2024 admission exercise.

Bandele, who said Umeh had been picked as Anchor University Young Ambassador for 2022/2023 session with full scholarship award to study any course of her choice at the institution, gave tuition-free award scholarship to the best 20 students in UTME from Deeper Life High Schools nationwide.NYSC Portal
According to him, the university will equally provide high percentage rebates on tuition to the first 50 students of the school with 250 and above marks in UTME, who will be admitted into the university for the 2023/2024 academic session.
