Two alleged gun manufacturers have been apprehended by the Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) troops, a military outfit tasked with maintaining peace in the region.NYSC Portal
Capt. James Oya, the media officer for OPSH, informed the press that the taskforce’s troops had discovered the suspected gun manufacturing facility, where they found newly-produced weapons. The suspects, identified as Micheal Dung, 33, and Yusuf Pam, 43, have been detained, and their gun-making establishment has been shut down.JAMB Portal

“Troops recovered six AK-47 rifles, three skeleton AK-47 rifles, one locally-made pistol, 11 rifle bodies, seven bridge block, and four magazines.JAMB Result
“210 springs, seven rifle butts, eight riffle muzzles, nine piston assembly, five cartridge housings, one drilling machine and a hand filing machine were also recovered from them.
“The suspects will be charged to court immediately after investigations,’’ Oya said.
