The North–East Joint Task Force in Damaturu, Yobe State, has given the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency 98 parcels of cannabis sativa valued N4.9 million.Infomation Guide Nigeria
Monday in Damaturu, Sector Commander Major General Koko Isoni confirmed this while delivering the seized substances to the Agency.
The Commander, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Umar Mu’azu, stated that the chemicals were recovered by the 159th Battalion in the Geidam Local Government Area on 7 October 2022.

Represented by the Deputy State Commandant, Ogar Peter, Yahaya appreciated the synergy between the security agencies in the state.
“We are pleased to receive this exhibit. The gesture demonstrates the synergy that exists between the security agencies in the state,” he said, adding the Nigerian Army has been committed to curve drug peddling in the state.
