Tinubu and Shettima took the oath of office under the guidance of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, at Eagles Square in Abuja.

During his swearing-in, Tinubu vowed to be faithful and bear true allegiance to the constitution of Nigeria.

This comes after he defeated Atiku, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP.JAMB Result

Despite his emergence, Atiku and Obi are contesting his victory at the election tribunal.

They argued that the election that made Tinubu president was flawed and marred with electoral malpractice.
