Visa on Arrival has been reinstated, as per the circular of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bangladesh.

Citizens of certain countries and foreign nationals of Bangladeshi origin may obtain a visa on arrival for a maximum of 30 (thirty) days at Bangladesh’s international airports and land ports under certain conditions, subject to the examination of their necessary travel documents and the approval of the immigration authority.

Residents of Nigeria who wish to travel to Bangladesh will require a visa. You’ll also need enough information to get your visa and complete certain steps as a foreign resident. The Bangladesh Tourist Visa is appropriate if you are traveling as a tourist.

To enter Bangladesh, you must have a medical certificate with an English translation stating that you are COVID-19 negative, with the PCR test completed within 72 hours of travel. Even if the test results are negative, you must “home quarantine” for 14 days.
