Waku Christopher, the Guma LGA’s Security Secretary, also confirmed the attack and stated that the three victims were killed at their homes in Tse Numgbera at 4:20 PM by suspected armed herders. He also stated that the attackers entered the village unexpectedly and began wreaking havoc on the villagers, killing three of them.
As of the time of reporting this report, SP. Catherine Anene, the Benue Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), could not be reached since her phone was off.
