Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has been warned to annul the Presidential election before Saturday otherwise there would be voter apathy. INDEPENDENT reports.Information Guide Nigeria
Paschal Eje, the National Coordinator of Niger Delta Youth Coalition For Atiku (NDYCA), passed the warning yesterday while addressing journalists at the Coalition’s office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

According to Eje, “The NDYCA is still very worried that despite calls from different leaders and different international observers across the world that described the February 25, presidential election as falling below minimum standard, INEC has not deemed it fit to cancel the election results.
“We are worried that if INEC does not heed the calls, there will be serious apathy to gubernatorial and state Assembly elections on Saturday.”NYSC Portal
“I want to call on all lovers of democracy in Nigeria and the world at large to join the call by the PDP presidential candidate, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for a continuous peaceful protest until INEC does the needful.
“We, members of NDYCA hereby call on all democratic Nigerians to put pressure on the Professor Mahmood Yakubu-led INEC to heed the clarion call to cancel the presidential election that was held on February 25, 2023, based on the fact that it was compromised and distorted.
“Many people will stay away from the polling booths on Saturday, March 11, 2023, for the governorship/Assembly elections based on the corruption that took place in the presidential election where our candidate, the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, was shortchanged by INEC.”JAMB Result
