The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has taken decisive action by dissolving the board of directors overseeing the operations of Polaris, Union, and Keystone banks.

In a significant move, Yetunde Oni, renowned as the first female CEO of Standard Chartered bank in Sierra Leone, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Union Bank. Additionally, Mannir Ubali Ringim has been selected as the Executive Director for this tier-2 bank.NYSC Portal

For Keystone Bank, the CBN has designated Hassan Imam as its Chief Executive Officer, while Chioma Mang has been named as the Executive Director.
Meanwhile, Lawal Mudathir Omokayode Akintola is set to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer at Polaris Bank, with Chris Ofikulu appointed as its Executive Director.JAMB Portal
The CBN statement read, “Following the dissolution of the Board and Management of Union Bank, Keystone Bank and Polaris Bank on Wednesday, January 10, the CBN has appointed new executives to oversee the affairs of the banks;
“Union Bank: Yetunde Oni – Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Mannir Ubali Ringim – Executive Director
“Keystone Bank: Hassan Imam – Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer Chioma A. Mang – Executive Director
“Polaris Bank: Lawal Mudathir Omokayode Akintola – Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer Chris Onyeka Ofikulu – Executive Director
“The appointments take immediate effect,” the statement added.
