CDWR Criticizes Mass Layoff of 450 Workers by Lagos State Water Corporation

The Campaign for Democratic and Workers Rights (CDWR) has voiced strong opposition to the recent mass dismissal of 450 workers by the Lagos State Water Corporation.informationguidenigeria

This action, which took place on December 5, 2023, has been described by the CDWR as insensitive and detrimental to the workers, especially considering the current economic challenges.

In a statement by Rufus Olusesan, the National Chairperson, and Chinedu Bosah, the National Publicity Secretary, the CDWR stressed that such a mass layoff during a period of economic crisis is inconsiderate to the affected workers.JAMB Result

They argued that this decision would exacerbate the poverty and socio-economic difficulties already faced by these individuals.
