Chelsea are on the brink of finalizing a loan move

Chelsea are on the brink of finalizing a loan move for their promising England youth international with African heritage, Alex Matos.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Matos is scheduled to complete medical tests at Championship side Huddersfield Town. The loan deal is expected to be confirmed following the successful completion of these medical examinations.NYSC Portal

Matos is a versatile player who can operate both in midfield and attack, and has been with Chelsea since the previous summer, having joined from Norwich City.

At just 19 years, he has already made an impression at Chelsea under Mauricio Pochettino’s management. This has seen him being included in the matchday squad for Premier League games on twelve occasions.

His debut for the Chelsea senior team came as a substitute in a match against Fulham on October 2. He also made a subsequent appearance off the bench in the Carabao Cup against Blackburn Rovers.JAMB Result
