The remains of a woman have been declared missing at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) mortuary in Sagamu, Ogun State.Information Guide Nigeria
Relatives of the dead had traveled from Ijebu-Ode to the mortuary on Friday to pick up her remains, accompanied by an ambulance and a team of undertakers.

While management is striving to resolve the situation, Fatungase stated that the issue of missing remains is unprecedented in the hospital mortuary.

Dr. Oluwabunmi Fatungase, Chief Medical Director of OOUTH, confirmed the development in a statement yesterday, expressing concern over what it described as a mix-up.NYSC portal
According to her, the management is working with necessary agents and individuals to unravel the circumstances behind the mix-up.
She revealed that footage from the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras at the mortuary camera was being evaluated, even as she pleaded for the cooperation of the affected family.
She threatened that “the public service rules will be applied on whoever is found culpable.
