Coup d’etat: Don’t bring fight between Nigeria, Niger, CAN tells Tinubu

The Christian Association of Nigeria on Thursday called on President Bola Tinubu to avoid any form of military intervention or measures in the Republic of Niger that would create enmity between them and Nigeria but should remain on the path of dialogue. THE PUNCH reports.InformationGuideNigeria

Archbishop Daniel Okoh, the President of CAN gave the advice in a statement he issued in Abuja.
Okoh said, “We also applaud their commendable efforts in resolving the crisis currently faced by our neighbours in the Republic of Niger.JAMB Portal
“CAN fully recognizes the gravity of the situation in Niger and the importance of upholding democratic principles, peace, and stability within the West African region. We believe that the peaceful resolution of conflicts is vital for the progress and well-being of our nations and our people.
