Court Steps in to Shield D’banj from Do2dtun’s Defamation

In the latest twist to the ongoing saga between famous radio personality, Do2dtun, and superstar singer, D’banj, a Chief District Court in Abuja has officially put the brakes on Do2dtun’s online campaign against the musician.

On October 18, 2023, Judge Emmanuel Iyanna stepped in, forbidding Do2dtun from making any further “malicious or defamatory” posts about D’banj on social platforms.informationguidenigeria

This legal move was prompted by D’banj, who sought legal counsel from Abuja’s Law Corridor firm, to ensure Do2dtun ceased and desisted from his damaging social media tirades.

The backdrop to this sensational story is the marital breakdown between Do2dtun and D’banj’s sister, Taiwo.

The couple, who share two daughters, had their fair share of headlines in 2021 when Taiwo alleged Do2dtun of “reckless emotional abuse and “vicious domestic violence”.

As the curtains drew on their marriage, Do2dtun claimed he was barred from seeing his daughters – an allegation Taiwo refutes, stating he has always had access.NYSC Portal

With claims of domestic violence and a disputed abortion echoing in the background, this entertainment feud is turning heads, as fans and the media await the next chapter in this high-profile drama.
