Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate for the African Action Congress, has asked the Center for Democracy and Development and Arise Television for an apology for allegedly barring him from the presidential debate that took place on November 6, 2022, in Abuja.Information Guide Nigeria
Sowore, who spoke at the ongoing series 2 of the presidential town hall in Abuja on Sunday, said, “I must state that last week should have been the day we should all be here, but for some reason, you decided to invite the leads within the presidential race and we think you owe us an apology for that because Nigeria should stop bringing people who have no ideas to talk to Nigerians when those who have ideas are relegated to the background. That is where we have gotten it wrong all these years.”

According to The PUNCH, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party was represented by his running mate and governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, at the presidential debate last Sunday. Also in attendance were the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi; New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso; and Peoples Redemption Party, Kola Abiola.JAMB Result
The contestants for the discussion last week were chosen through an online poll, according to the organizers, who also claimed that the candidates who received the most votes were invited.
The presidential candidates for the Social Democratic Party, All Progressives Grand Alliance, and Action Democratic Party—Adewole Adebayo, Yabagi Sani, and Professor Peter Umeadi—were present in today’s (Sunday) Series 2 of the Town Hall along with Sowore.
