Don’t push the poor so hard’, Baba-Ahmed warns Nigerian govt as naira, fuel scarcity bites harder

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, spokesman for the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), has cautioned the Nigerian government against inciting vulnerable Nigerians to go to war due to the negative effects of the naira and cash shortage in the nation.

The difficulties the general public is experiencing as a result of the government’s destructive policies were denounced by Baba-Ahmed in a tweet on Tuesday.

Nigerians were frustrated by the lack of naira throughout the nation, and many of them staged violent protests against the policy.
