Ebonyi: Deputy Governor vows not to listen to gossip

Deputy Governor Patricia Obila has promised not to listen to gossip in her dealings with staff. PeoplesGazette reports.Information Guide Nigeria

The Ebonyi deputy governor stated this on Tuesday when her predecessor, Kelechi Igwe, officially handed over to her at the old Government House in Abakaliki, declaring that she does not listen to gossip and will treat all staff fairly.

“You have highlighted some points I need to look into, and with the cooperation of my people, I will be guided. You have handed over assets and liabilities of the office to me, and by God’s grace, I pray that the liabilities will not be more than the assets,” added the Ebonyi deputy governor.
