He gave the advice yesterday at a special thanksgiving at Christ Embassy Church, Mile 50, Abakaliki.
He said: “Mr. Speaker, I want you to know that what destroys a man is to listen to gossips, avoid those who do so, verify every information before making use of it.
“If we do not tell the story of how we started, then we cannot tell the story of the glorious end, so we thank the church.”JAMB Result

Umahi later took Nwifuru round the new Government House.
He expressed delight that God Almighty had strengthened him to make enduring imprints, using the machinery of governance.
“The hallmark of our administration is fulfilled. Have I done everything right? No, only God will do it right,” he said.
All is set for the inauguration of the new governor and deputy governor.
The state capital, Abakaliki, is wearing a new look. Security has been beefed up across the city.
