Kalu made the call in his goodwill message in celebration of 2023 Eid-el-Kabir.
The ex-governor of Abia state charged religious and spiritual leaders to use their positions to advocate credible and responsive leadership at all levels.

He said that Nigeria was blessed with religious, ethnic, and cultural diversity.

“Muslims must uphold the exemplary and outstanding qualities of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in their daily pursuits.
“The acts of love, togetherness, selflessness, piety, almsgiving, and patriotism must be imbibed in all our endeavours.
“Let us support and complement the efforts of the Federal Government in building a prosperous nation.
“We must continue to live in peace and harmony regardless of our religious differences,” he said.
