‘Every day, I pray to win Grammy’ – Davido

His fourth studio album, “Timeless,” has been nominated for Best Global Music Album. Additionally, two of his tracks, “Unavailable” and “Feel,” have earned nominations in the Best African Music Performance and Best Global Music Performance categories, respectively.NYSC Portal

In a recent interview with GQ, Davido shared that winning a Grammy is one of his major daily prayers. He openly talked about his desire for this achievement, stating, “Everybody knows what one of my prayer points is now. I have been nominated for three Grammys. So, everybody knows what I am praying for every day I wake up.”

The competition in these categories is notably strong. For the Best Global Music Performance award, Davido is up against notable artists including his fellow Nigerian Burna Boy, Arooj Aftab, Silvana Estrada, Béla Fleck, Falu, and Gaurav Shah.
