National Hospital denies referring Actor, Zack Orji to private medical facility

The National Hospital Abuja (NHA) has issued a statement denying the referral of veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji to a private hospital.

This clarification comes in a statement signed by the NHA spokesperson, Tayo Haastrup, on behalf of the Chief Medical Director, as reported by DAILY POST.InformationGuideNigeria

The statement provided details about Zack Orji’s medical care at the hospital. It was mentioned that the actor was brought to the National Hospital Abuja on New Year’s Eve and was initially admitted to the intensive care unit. Following his stabilization, Orji was then moved to the ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) ward of the hospital.

The hospital’s account as relayed by Haastrup indicates that Orji received continuous care within the National Hospital Abuja, thereby contradicting any claims or reports of his referral to an external private hospital.

He said, The attention of the National Hospital Abuja has been drawn to a publication insinuating that the Apex hospital referred the Nigerian Actor Zack Orji to a private hospital in Abuja.JAMB Result
