The Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo was established in 1977, not as a College for the handicapped but with the mandate to train Teachers at the NCE level, who upon graduation would be able to handle both normal and special needs pups/students in any classroom situation both in the Primary and the lower arm of Secondary Education The College has the uniqueness of being the only one of its kind, not only in Nigeria but in the whole of the Sub-Sahara Africa Its uniqueness also covers being the only tertiary educational institution a Nigeria with the largest concentration of both staff and students with special needs. Requirements for 2023/2024 Admission:
The following candidates are qualified to apply:
i) Those who made the College their preferred Institution of choice, sat for the 2023 UTME and scored 200 and above.
ii) Those who sat for the 2023 UTME and scored 200 and above but did not choose the College.
iii) Candidates who did not choose the College must process change of Institution and make the College First choice on JAMB portal.
iv) Those who applied to JAMB for Direct Entry.
