FG Begins Cash Grant To Vulnerable Groups

Nigeria’s Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has begun the distribution of Cash Grants to the Vulnerable groups.Information Guide Nigeria

The event was held at  Prof Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center in Awka, Anambra State on Tuesday.

According to AUTHORITY, the Social Investment Programme (NSIP) is a programme of Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The program which was implemented in close partnerships with State Governments was designed to specifically give a lifting hand to many of the poorest and vulnerable citizens in the country.JAMB portal

The Minister who was represented by Mr Charles Anaelo said, “It is worthy of note that 70% of these beneficiaries must be women, while the remaining 30% is for vouths.

“Mr. President has further directed that. at least 15% of the total number of beneficiaries must specifically be allocated to citizens with special needs, including Persons With Disability (PWDs) and Senior Citizens in the State.NYSC portal
