Fraud: EFCC nabs siblings, 24 others, recovers car

Two brothers, Lateef Afeez Abiodun and Lateef Abdullahi Olalekan, as well as twenty-four other people, were detained in Ibadan, Oyo State, by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) agents on suspicion of engaging in online fraud.Infomation Guide Nigeria

Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC’s head of media and publicity, stated this in a statement on Thursday.

According to the statement, the commission’s investigation into actionable intelligence led to their Tuesday arrest in Ibadan’s Apete neighborhood.

The additional suspects are Kehinde Abiodun, Ibikunle Lolade Tanimola, Ahmad Sodiq Adekola, Joshua Sowemimo, Adeleke Adegoke Yusuf, and Ahmad Ridwan Adeniyi. They are also Awotunde Joseph Sunday, Ojekunle Ifakorede Apesinola, Oladepo Kayode Samuel, Bakari Ibrahim OluwatosinJamb Result
