‘God won’t kill you, nothing wrong in you contesting,’ Oba of Lagos to Rhodes-Vivor

Rilwan Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos, has encouraged Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivor, Labour Party governorship candidate in the state not to relent in his quest if he loses on Saturday, but noted that he is supporting the re-election bid of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Oba Akiolu stated this yesterday when Rhodes-Vivour paid him a courtesy visit to his palace.

“Please, don’t relent after this contest but I am fully behind Sanwo-Olu,” the Oba told Rhodes-Vivour.
