Godwin Emefiele: Tinubu Receives Interim Report From CBN Investigator 

The interim report on the ongoing investigation of the activities of the Central Bank of Nigeria over the past eight years has been submitted to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. President Tinubu, in July, assigned the responsibility of probing the CBN to the former Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, Jim Obazee. LEGIT NEWS reports.

Obazee was named the special investigator to probe and audit the activities of the Godwin Emefiele-led CBN over a series of allegations bordering on mismanagement of funds. Multiple sources confirmed that the report has gotten to the president’s desk since last week, and it is believed that the document influenced the change in power at the apex bank.JAMB Portal
