A committee saddled with the responsibility of assessing and recovering all Taraba State stolen assets has been put in place by Governor Agbu Kefas. DAILY POST reports.Information Guide Nigeria
The release was contained in a statement presented to DAILY POST in Jalingo, the state capital, by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Gebon Kataps.
The committee is to ascertain the number of movable and immovable assets in Kaduna, including the liaison office in Lagos, Abuja and any other part of the Federal Capital Territory.

The governor, who is bent on recovering all the state stolen assets, directed the committee to make an overall assessment of the monetary value of each asset, as well as the suitability of usage of each asset by the state government.NYSC Portal
The Committee, which has four weeks to submit its reports to the government, was directed to make appropriate recommendations to the state government.
It is headed by a retired Major General, Habila Vintenaba, with Saleh Aji as its secretary.
