Gov. Radda approves N200m to combat malnutrition

The Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda has approved N200 million counterpart fund for the prevention and treatment of women and children afflicted with malnutrition.

This was disclosed by Ibrahim Kaula, the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the governor in a statement issued to newsmen in Katsina on Tuesday.NYSC Portal

According to Mr Kaula, the state’s Commissioner of Health, Dr Bishir Gambo who revealed this, said it was part of their counterpart fund for UNICEF intervention programmes.

Dailynigerian reports that Governor Dikko Radda has also approved the commencement of the Postgraduate Residency training for doctors in two specialist hospitals in the state.
