Grammy created ‘Best African Music Performance’ category because of me – Burna Boy brags

Burna Boy, a Nigerian afrofusion singer, has claimed that the Recording Academy added the new “Best African Music Performance” category to the Grammys because of him.Information Guide Nigeria

Burna Boy, whose album ‘Twice As Tall’ won the “Best Global Music Album” category at the 63rd Grammy Awards, said he felt “responsible” for the development of the new African music category.NYSC Portal 

This was said by the self-proclaimed “African Giant” in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times.

He was sceptical, however, that the newly established ‘Best African Music Performance’ award would be given much weight.JAMB Result
