Gunmen abduct Kwara cleric, son, demand N100m ransom

Fasasi, a sibling, was reportedly killed by gunmen who broke into the cleric’s home to do the crime.NYSC Portal

The cleric’s father explained that his son and grandson were taken to an unknown location by kidnappers who believed that Fasasi had died.

He stated that when the kidnappers left, Fasasi was transferred to an undisclosed hospital, where he has been recuperating, and that the kidnappers demanded N100 million ransom to release the abducted victims.

“I am appealing to the state government and men of goodwill to assist us in getting my two sons out of the den of the kidnappers, the grandfather added.

SP Okasanmi Ajayi, the state police’s public relations officer, confirmed that two suspects had been apprehended in connection with the incident after being contacted.
