How abducted corpers were rescued in Katsina – Army

Two members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who were abducted by bandits in the Yargoje community, situated in the Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, have been successfully rescued by the combined efforts of the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force.

The corps members, who were enroute from Edo State when they were ambushed and kidnapped, are currently undergoing medical examination and care to ensure their well-being.

The Director of Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Onyema Nwachukwu, confirmed the rescue in an official statement released today. He emphasized the continued commitment of the Nigerian Army, in collaboration with other security forces, to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.InformationGuideNigeria
