When admitted into any of the higher institutions listed above, it is common to notice that every fresher would be asking questions like “where the faculty block is, where the administrative block is” and a host of other questions.

So here is the trick, at this point in time, many people who you might have never seen in your life, would be there to give you responses or even ask you questions and you should ask questions politely and answer politely.

When you do so, the people or person you interacted with, would be happy that you spoke in a polite manner and automatically there would be friendship between you and the person.

Being friendly to many people doesn’t mean you begin telling them your life history, it could just be displaying a smiling face when someone speaks to you, and it is a simple as that. This would attract people to become your friend and you can also make anyone your friend.

5. Partake In Social Activities And Keep In Touch

Did you know that it is in social activities that people mostly make friends, this is because everyone is in merriment and when I say social activities or events I don’t strictly mean night parties or birthday parties, it could be during sports, or even during the freshers orientation meeting.

Another thing to note is to keep in touch with people you want to make as friends, this is because you cannot say you are someone’s friend when you don’t spend time with him or her or communicate by making calls, texting or sending real-time messages.

Those little social activities you partake in can build up solid friendships.
There is really a good opportunity to make friends when you partake in social activities in the higher institution.

6. Always Smile

Due to the fact that no one would always like to be in the presence of an angry fellow, it would be necessary for you to smile as often as possible if you really want to make friends in the higher institution.

Smiling is associated with love and friendship this is because you cannot be happy with someone in an angry mood.
So you have to make yourself friendly to others in order to make friends in the higher institution by smiling.
