I now charge N46M per feature – Davido discloses

Popular Nigerian musician David Adeleke, often known by his stage name Davido, has said that he has begun charging artists for his appearance in their songs.Information Guide Nigeria

Davido said that his lawyers have created contracts in reaction to his admission in a Bootleg Kev interview.

The Unavailable hitmaker has stated that he now asks $100k (N46M) plus a video in order to be included by artists he knows. If the call for partnership came from a person he doesn’t know, he suggested that it might be more.

As was to be expected, the video sparked a variety of responses from internet users. While some praised Davido for his latest move, claiming that free access to him will be reduced as he won’t be taken for granted, others pointed out that he should charge more given his stature and influence in the music industry.JAMB Portal
