 I Was Elected To Return PDP To Power, Remove APC From Aso Rock – Ayu

Senator Iyorchia Ayu, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said he was elected to take power back from the All Progressives Congress (APC).Information Guide Nigeria

It was reported that media aide to the PDP Chairman, Simon Imobo-Tswam, stated this during an interview with journalists on yesterday in Abuja.

Imobo-Tswam said that the Benue-born politician was elected as the national chairman to return PDP to power in 2023 and eject the APC from Aso Rock. NAIJA NEWS REPORTS.

He asserted that based on Ayu’s political experience and credentials he had acquired from the onset, he was elected to unite the party and galvanize it for victory.

Imobo-Tswam described the rumpus in the party as a burden associated with leadership which he said his boss was managing well.

He stressed that the national chairman had been a university teacher, a senator, a Senate President, and a minister several times over, which gave him this experiences in preparation for what is happening presently.

Imobo-Tsam stressed that the national chairman was managing the party crisis in the best possible way and activating the internal conflict resolution mechanisms.

He said, “Ayu was elected to take PDP back to power, the party was in crisis when he took over. The whole party beginning from his zone, looked at his person, his credentials and decided that a man like him should come at this time and unite the party, galvanize it for victory and recover the country from the mediocrity of the ruling party APC and I will say, so far so good.

“The crisis or the ripples within the party is part of the burden of leadership and he is managing it well, he is prepared and experienced for the office he is currently holding.

“Leadership is a burden, if you do not want the burden, you don’t shop at the leadership counter , you stay at home and sell ice cream. Everybody in public space especially in the front should be ready for the burden. He can multi-task , he can also manage crisis.”JAMB Result
