I’m not satisfied with police investigation on Mohbad’s death – Late singer’s father

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has voiced his discontentment with the police investigations into his son’s death. Mohbad, a former artist under Marlian Records Label owned by Naira Marley, passed away under controversial circumstances on September 12, 2023.informationguidenigeria

Following his demise, various documents and videos emerged on the internet, showing Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, allegedly subjecting Mohbad to bullying for leaving the record label.

In response to public outcry over Mohbad’s death, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, ordered a forensic investigation to determine the cause of death. The Lagos State Police Command arrested several suspects, including Sam Larry, Naira Marley, Primeboy, and Feyisoya Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad before his death.NYSC Portal

Sam Larry and Naira Marley were subsequently arraigned on October 6 and were granted bail after spending weeks in detention.

In a recent interview with Trust TV, Joseph Aloba expressed his dissatisfaction with the police investigation and called on the authorities to invite individuals who were close to Mohbad for further inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his son’s death.JAMB Result

In the viral video, the singer’s father said “I’m not satisfied with the police investigation. A lot of things have been said outside which are not right.JAMB Portal
