I’m Obi-Centric Now – Actor Okonkwo
Kenneth Okonkwo, the Nollywood actor has said that his political focus is now on Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party. Information Guide Nigeria
He stated this in an interview on Arise TV yesterday, days after resigning his membership of the All Progressives Congress, following the selection of Kashim Shettima as Bola Tinubu’s running mate. OSG reports.
Okonkwo condemned the Muslim-Muslim ticket and thus shared his resignation letter on his Instagram page on Monday.

“I’m not pondering any party yet but I must tell you, a friend of mine, a northern brother of mine from Kano State when he learned I was coming for this program told me, I must be obi-centric going forward. jamb results
“This is a northern Muslim talking. Anybody that is telling you that northern Muslims would not endorse Christians is telling you a false statement.
“That is the crisis with bringing octogenarians to organize your party and the affairs of government.
“I’m Obi-centric but I’ve not joined any party. It’s the ticket that has given me that strength, that youthful stability that we need to change the system of Nigeria at this time.”
