As part of the state’s 2023 Hajj fares, Jigawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has deposited N2.5 billion with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.Information Guide Nigeria
This was disclosed by the executive secretary of the board, Alhaji Umar Labbo, in Dutse on Friday.
Labbo told newsmen that NAHCON allocated 1,225 seats to the state for the 2023 exercise.

He further stated that each intending pilgrim in the state would pay N2.9 million as Hajj fare as approved by NAHCON.NYSC Portal
According to PUNCH, they added that 80 per cent of the seats allocated to the state by NAHCON had been allocated to its 27 local government areas for sale to intending pilgrims.
He urged all those who had yet to complete their payment of Hajj fares to do so on or before April 21.
Labbo also commended Gov. Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa for his support for the board.JAMB Result
