JUST IN: President Buhari Orders Release Of N3.5billion To Help Nigerians Caught Up In Ukraine Fight

President of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari has approved the release of $8.5million (N3,535,150,000.00) to facilitate the immediate evacuation of Nigerians caught up in the Russia-Ukraine war. SAHARA REPORTERS reports.

Addressing newsmen after the meeting, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouk, joined by her counterpart Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada, said the amount is to evacuate at least 500 nationals stranded as a result of the crisis.
