Following the Imo State governorship election held on Saturday, both the Labour Party (LP) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have called for its cancellation.
The demand was made amidst allegations of electoral malpractices and the subversion of democratic processes.
Tony Nwulu, the deputy governorship candidate of the LP, voiced these concerns during a press conference held on Saturday night. He accused security agents of colluding with certain individuals to undermine the will of the people during the election.
