In a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Lagos Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources, Lekan Shodeinde, said the heavy rainfalls are expected between August 14 and 18.Information Guide Nigeria

Shodeinde said the statement followed flood alert advisory issued by the Flood Emergency Warning System (FEWS) Central Hub of the Federal Ministry of the Environment.JAMB Result
Areas listed for possible flash flooding include Apapa, Badagry, Eti Osa, Ikeja, Ikorodu, Ikoyi, Lagos Island and Ojo.
According to him, the warning has become necessary to avoid preventable loss of lives and properties that usually accompany such incidents.JAMB Portal
