Lagos maid-led gang robs employer of N2.8m

Three individuals have been brought before the Yaba Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State for allegedly robbing Esther Okanlawon of N2.8m at her residence in the Mushin neighbourhood of Lagos State.

Pius Sunday, age 28, Cynthia Ikade, age 19, and Loveth Uloko, age 20, were charged with three charges of conspiracy, armed robbery, and unlawful conversion.InformationGuideNigeria

Ikade, who served as Okanlawon’s maid at her home in Mushin, reportedly abruptly informed her employer that she no longer want the position.JAMB Result

The agent through whom she was employed was reportedly contacted by her employer, but the agent could not be reached by phone.NYSC Portal

PUNCH Metro gathered that Okanlawon called him after three months to request another maid, and that he sent Uloko.

Court sentences uncle and cousin to ten years in prison for gang-raped teen maid Sunday and Ikade, along with Henry, who is still at large, allegedly broke into the woman’s home on October 10, 2022, and robbed her family, with the assistance of Uloko, who allegedly opened the back gate and kitchen door for them.

The defendants were arraigned on three counts.
