LASU ODLRI Certificate & Diploma Admission Form 2021/2022. This is to inform candidates who are interested in applying for admission into the certificate programme of LASU Open and Distance Learning & Research Institute (ODLRI) that the forms have been released. Interested candidates should see the list of available diploma and certificate courses, admission requirements and how to apply below.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Diploma and Certificate Programmes which will be offered by the Lagos State University Consult Limited and Lagos State University Open and Distance Learning & Research Institute (ODLRI) for the 2021/2022 Academic Session.

Entry Requirements

The following candidates are eligible to apply:


Holders of WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (O’ Level)/NABTEB or its equivalent with Credit passes in 4 subjects at not more than two sittings to include English Language, Mathematics, and any two relevant subjects.

Certificate Courses

Category A

Holders of WASCE/SSCE/GCE/NECO (O’ Level)/NABTEB or its equivalent with Credit passes in English Language and any two relevant subjects

Mature Candidates with related experience

Candidates awaiting Results in the current year of application

Category B

Holders of OND/HND/B.Sc./B.A./B.Ed./B.Tech. or its equivalent are eligible to apply

Mature Candidates with more than two (2) years related experience

4.0 Category of Applicants

These programmes are suitable for candidates willing to enjoy a rewarding career and make a difference in their professions by learning from the comfort of their homes.

5.0 Duration

Diploma: Two (2) academic sessions

Certificate: Three (3) months

6.0 Mode of Teaching and Learning

All academic activities are going to be blended learning with 70% online classes and 30% physical classes with prompt and accurate delivery system, including workshop.

7.0 Method of Application

Step 1: Candidates are to visit for details about the programme of choice.

Step 2: Then proceed to to make payment for the application fee of N10,000 for Certificate Programmes or N15,000 for Diploma Programmes and then proceed to complete the application form.

8.0 Screening

Candidates who have been offered admission and have paid the acceptance fee will also be subjected to a screening exercise.
