LASU Supplementary Certificates & Diploma Admission Form 2023/2024. This is to inform candidates who applied for admission into various courses of the certificate and diploma programmes of above named institution but were not offered admission on merit that the management has begun the sale of supplementary forms for admission into 2023/2024 session.  Details of the admission requirements and how to apply have been provided in this post.

Lagos State University (LASU) in conjunction with LASU Consult Limited hereby invite applications from suitably Qualified candidates for LASU Certificates and Diploma Programmes in the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

As provided in the Edict establishing the institution, the mission of the University is to provide qualitative education to the large populace of Lagos State by preparing them for the challenges of managing the private and public sectors of the state, through taking education nearer and closer to the people desirous of acquiring knowledge.

(1) DIPLOMA IN ARABIC AND ISLAMIC STUDIES

Admission Requirement (Arabic Studies):

Aspiring candidates must have obtained one of the following qualifications:

•Merit pass of the Thanawiyyah Certificate of Standard Ilmiyyah schools;

•Credit pass of the I’dadiyyah Certificate of Standard ‘Ilmiyyah schools;

•Credit in GCE/WASC O’ Level in three subjects including Arabic Language and Islamic Studies;

•Aged candidates who have attained the age of 35years and above and have acquired wide experience in

Arabic and Islamic Studies with minimum of Ibtida ‘iyyah Certificate of evidence of Walimat Khatim u ‘lQuran with very good performance in the qualifying examination; and

• Candidates with additional evidence of qualification in western education will be given preference.

• Duration: Two (2) Academic Sessions
• Application fee: N20,000.00

(2) DIPLOMA IN CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS STUDIES

Admission Requirement (Christian Religious Studies):

Candidates must have obtained one of the following qualifications:

•Credit pass in GCE/WASC O’ Level Examination in three (3) subjects, including Christian Religious Studies;

•Merit pass in the Teacher Grade II Examination, including Christian Religious Studies;

•Certificates and Diplomas of Theological Institutions; and

•Waivers shall be given to mature candidates (not less than 35years old) with less or other certificates but who have relevant experience.

• Duration: Two (2) Academic Sessions
• Application fee: N20,000:00

(3) PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN TRANSPORT OPERATIONS PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

Admission Requirement:

Candidates must have obtained O’Level Credit pass in any three (3) subjects OR Advanced Certificate in Transport OR Five (5) years’ experience in Transport related industry.

• Duration: 6 Months (weekend only)
• Application fee: N20, 000:00

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE IN TRANSPORT OPERATIONS PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

Admission Requirement:

Candidates must have experience in transport operation and ability to read and write.

• Duration: Four weeks (4 weeks)
• Application fee:N15,000:00

(4) EXTERNAL PROGRAMME:

LASU CONSULT LIMITED IN COLLABORATION WITH ASSOCIATION FOR REPRODUCTIVE IN FAMILY

HEALTH CERTIFICATE IN SOCIAL WORKS AND ADMINISTRATION

Admission Requirement:

•Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:

•Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) or GCE O’ level with at least four (4) credit pass including English Language;

•SSSC or GCE O’ level with at least 3 credits and a minimum of 25years of age;Officers from the Ministry of Social Welfare, Religious Organisations, Media, Local Government Service, Security Agencies among others and any other interested candidates with OND/NCE/B.SC Certificates or equivalent qualifications.

• Duration:Two (2) Semesters
• Application fee:N15,000:00

B. METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Payment of a non-refundable fee of specified amount for the Programme of interest should be made to LASU

CONSULT LIMITED Account (LOTUS BANK: 1000776393) to access the application forms.

STEPS FOR DIPLOMA APPLICLATION:

(i)Visit https://www.lasu.edu.ng;

(ii)Navigate to the students tab and click “Sandwich/Diploma”;

(iii)Click on ”Step 1” to generate an Application Number;

(iv)Supply basic bio-data details and select “Diploma Internal or “Diploma External” as Programme as under the Programme Dropdown;

(v)Click Continue;

(vi)An application number will be generated. Copy the application number generated;

(vii)Proceed to ”Step 2” to make the required payment for the Diploma application fee;

(viii) After successful payment, return to the application page on ”Step 3” to continue the Application;

(ix)Supply application number and surname;

(x)Complete all required information; and

(xi)Print out your application form.

C. CLOSING DATE:

The closing date for the application is six (6) weeks from the date of this publication.
