Arsenal are interested in signing Everton midfielder Amadou Onana, according to Football London. Onana, 23, has impressed in the Premier League since joining the Toffees from Lille in August 2022 in a £33million deal, making 47 outings in the division.JAMB Result

It’s believed the Gunners are considering making a £50million offer, which could be enough to tempt Everton. The Merseyside club have money woes after receiving a 10-point deduction earlier this season for breaching the Premier League’s financial rules.JAMB Result

Ivan Toney insists he has “a lot to repay” Brentford for after sticking by him during his ban. The England international, 27, will return to Premier League football this month after serving an eight-month suspension for breaching the Football Association’s betting rules.NYSC Portal

Toney, who scored 20 Premier League goals last season, is a transfer target for Arsenal and Chelsea. Yet Brentford are determined to keep hold of their prized asset after losing Yoane Wissa to the Africa Cup of Nations and Bryan Mbeumo to a serious ankle injury.

In an exclusive interview with Mirror Football, Toney said: “They (Brentford) have been nothing but amazing for me. I can’t thank them enough, especially the fans. They were behind me from the first minute as well. So it’s kind of like I have a lot to repay.”

Brentford are enduring a nightmare run in the Premier League, having lost five consecutive games, and want Toney to fire them to safety before contemplating a sale in the summer. They are 16th in the table, just four points above the relegation zone.
