Mr Macaroni narrates ordeal with depression

Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Adebowale Adedayo, better known by his stage name Mr Macaroni, has opened up about his personal battle with depression and how he was able to overcome it.

The talented artist recently took to his Twitter handle to share his inspiring story of triumph over hardship.

The actor has recently opened up about a personal struggle that he faced in late 2017 and 2018. During this time, he battled with depression, which happened to coincide with his expulsion from university.

Recalling the subsequent years of his struggle, he wrote, “From 2018-2019 was another round of depression. I continued hustling for roles again in Nollywood. I have been acting on and off since like 2011.”

In his pursuit of stardom, he came across some deceitful characters who capitalised on his aspirations and duped him into paying for forms time and again.

During the latter part of 2019, amidst the depths of his grief, he shifted his focus towards creating and sharing digital content.JAMB Result

The protagonist’s departure from the traditional path to success proved to be his ultimate escape.
