The Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Beecroft has thwarted an attempt to illicitly siphon petrol from a pipeline at Atlas Cove, Lagos.
This pipeline is a property of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC).NYSC Portal
The information was made public on Thursday by the command’s spokesperson, Sub. Lt. Happiness Collins. Commodore Kolawole Oguntuga, Commander of NNS BEECROFT, highlighted that the illegal activities were stopped on Wednesday.

“After halting their activities, the NNPCL was alerted and repairs on the vandalised parts of the pipeline have gone underway.JAMB Result
“Efforts are ongoing to detect and rectify other potential vulnerabilities along the pipeline to ensure a comprehensive approach to deter future illegal activities,’’ he said.
