
Onyeka Madukolu, an ex-convict, was apprehended at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, for bringing 5.90 kilograms of cocaine into Nigeria hidden in deodorant and women’s lip gloss cans, according to the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency.Information Guide Nigeria
Onyeka, who was sentenced to seven years in jail in Ethiopia for drug trafficking offenses and freed from prison in 2020, was once more detained on Friday, September 16, 2022, according to a statement made by the agency’s spokeswoman, Femi Babafemi.

On his way back from Sao Paulo, Brazil, through Addis Abeba, according to Babafemi, the drug dealer was detained at the Lagos airport while traveling on an Ethiopian Airlines flight.
He said, “A search of his luggage revealed that he concealed 5.90kg cocaine inside cans of deodorants and female lip gloss. During preliminary interview, he claimed to have ventured into the drug business to raise fresh capital to kick-start a legitimate business after his release from Ethiopian prison in 2020.’’JAMB Result
